SCREEN legend Maureen O'Hara is planning to write a book to explain the series of events that led to her sudden decision to leave Ireland.
The 92-year-old actress moved from her retirement home in Glengarriff, Co Cork, to her US-based family's residence in Idaho last September.
The move followed a well-documented dispute with her long-standing personal assistant, Carolyn Murphy.
Her allegations, which were denied by Ms Murphy (71), included complaints that her dreams for an ambitious legacy centre in her name in Glengarriff had been distorted.
'The Quiet Man' star will team up with her former biographer, Johnny Nicoletti, on the new project.
