Prince Harry reportedly set to propose to girlfriend of one year
BRITAIN'S Prince Harry is set to propose to his girlfriend of one year, according to reports
The 28-year-old prince began dating 24-year-old dance student Cressida Bonas in July of 2012.
Sources claim the relationship has become serious very fast and Prince Harry has joked his engagement could be “any day” now, the Daily Star Sunday reports.
The prince has also been heard speaking about how special she is.
The prince was said to be set on showing Bonas the work he does with anti-landmine charity HALO Trust in Angola.
The royal insider also hinted at a royal spring wedding.
“The way it's looking now people close to Harry and Cressida predict an engagement by the end of the year and a spring wedding,” the source said.
“Cressida is The One. People have heard Harry talking about how special Cress is and about getting engaged.”
It's not the first time Harry has been at the end of such rumours this year.
The couple were urged by family members to take their relationship to the next level when they holidayed with Harry's uncle Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson in Switzerland last February.
The divorced couple's daughters Beatrice and Eugenie were also there, with Eugenie and Cressida good friends.
"I'm told they talked of marriage in Switzerland this year. Fergie was urging him to propose, but H wouldn't go that far," a source explains in upcoming book Harry: The People's Prince by Chris Hutchins, an extract of which has been published in British newspaper The Daily Mail.
"That said, he's seen how happy marriage has made his brother and I think he wants some of that. I'm also informed that Cressida's mother has told Eugenie she'd love to see them settle down together, but Cressida won't be rushed any more than he will."
Harry has previously been linked to a few women before, his most prominent relationship being with socialite Chelsy Davy.
The couple split for good in 2011 after a seven year on-off relationship.
