Charlie Sheen's fiancée is reportedly helping him detox and "get healthy".

The 48-year-old actor is engaged to porn star-turned-nurse Brett Rossi, 24, and has apparently decided it's time to overhaul his life. He's battled substance abuse in the past and it known to love partying, but Brett is hoping to start their life together on a calmer footing.

"Brett is cleaning house in more ways than one,” a source told RadarOnline.com.

“She’s been cracking down on the way Charlie frivolously spends his money and she’s also keen to get him healthy. Charlie’s not someone to usually be bossed around, but he’s so head over heels for Brett and respects her and knows that she just has his best interests at heart.”

Also spurring Charlie on is the thought his TV show Anger Management could get put into syndication. If it was picked up by other channels the star would earn a great deal of cash, which he has apparently been considering lately.

"It’s all about dollar signs for Charlie. He knows that if he can keep himself together and keep Anger Management going strong, it will pay off big time," the insider explained.

"So for the last two weeks he’s completely stopped drinking and has been detoxing. He’s taking it really seriously!”

The news comes after the star's representative had to shoot down rumours he'd not attended set recently.

Charlie is used to bringing home the big bucks - during his last season on Two and a Half Men he was paid around $1.8 million per episode. He took a huge pay cut when he pitched Anger Management, but part of the agreement cited that he would get a proportion of money made if the show is syndicated. It will be eligible for this once 100 episodes have been made, which should happen later this year.
