Osbourne: I learned to love myself

Kelly Osbourne has been talking about how she conquered her weight woes

Kelly Osbourne has revealed at one point she was so unhappy she wanted to die.

The TV personality, 28, told ITV1's Daybreak and Lorraine her mood got so low that she got into "this little bubble of self-medicating".

Kelly - who went on to drop five dress sizes - said a stint in rehab and appearing on the US TV show Dancing With The Stars helped her learn to love herself.

She said: "If you look at pictures of me (before the weight loss) - how unhappy I really was - like you can see it in my eyes. But my mum would always tell me 'Kelly it doesn't matter, you are who are you, if you want to change something you can change it.'

"It was just that I didn't want to change because I had cocooned myself into this little of bubble of self-medicating and numbing myself. And I can't lie, I thought, 'If I just take a couple more of these I won't wake up tomorrow morning, it'll all be done, who cares?' I woke up the next day and was like, 'You actually thought that about yourself - you need to sort that' and I told my mum and that day I was in rehab."

Kelly - who's helping people beat the bulge with her Kelly Osbourne Hollywood Diet - credited Dancing With The Stars professional partner Louis Van Amstel for helping her turn things around.

She added: "I had to learn to love myself and once I kind of got there - because every woman has a problem with something with themselves - I started to realise I should look after myself a little bit better and then one pound started to drop and then five pounds and I was like, 'Wow this is addictive'."
