The 24-year-old, who is based in LA flew back home to perform the national anthem for the Ireland v Sweden game in the Aviva Stadium last Friday.

And just this morning she was announced as playing a ditzy Fairy in Jack and the Beanstalk in the Cheerios Christmas Panto with Alan Hughes.  Also starring alongside Sammy Sausages is Fair City's Bryan Murray, as The Evil baddie.

On top of that the top model says that there are now several Irish singing projects in the pipeline thanks to the positive feedback.

“I have had some really good feedback and I think it's not going to be the only match I will do.”

She will return to the States in October, but says that her blossoming relationship with the FAI will see her return home for more match performances in the future.

“The door is open there for me to do more.”

Nadia has been attracting huge attention since her big performance and described the reaction as “overwhelming”.

“People have been stopping me in the street. It is unbelievable,” she said.

“Everyone has been so kind – it doesn't feel real.”

The striking brunette has also been gaining more male fans with the Swedish football coach and the Irish football team now big fans.

“I know a few of the Irish footballers so I was talking to them after the game and they were very nice,” she said.

Nadia is back in Dublin for the next four weeks before she jets back to LA.

And the model-turned-singer is hoping to make up for lost time with her family and friends while she is home.

“I missed my best friend so much when I was away, (Face Time is crucial and it's the only thing that gives me some normality,” she told the Herald,

“I love home comforts so it's just about spending as much time with my friends as I possibly can before I go back.

“I'm very lucky my friends are like my family, I'm that close to them so I miss them a lot.”

But it won't be a case of resting on her laurels for Nadia while at home and she will be gearing up for the launch of a new beauty range with fellow models Roz Purcell and Rosanna Davison.

The girls shot the campaign for their new specialised beauty products when they flew out to London with model boss Andrea Roche earlier this summer.

The campaign is due to be launched in Irish stores before Christmas with each of the girls boasting their own specialised blusher and bronzer.
