NORAH Casey has said she was emotionally ready to give up her publishing company Harmonia within weeks of her husband Richard Hannaford's death, two years ago.
The mother of one will hand over the reins of her business to her younger brother, Ciaran, on November 4 and told the Irish Independent she's delighted to keep the company "within the family".
"It needs love and attention, more than I can give it now, because I only had a day every week to devote to it," she said.
"After Richard died I took on everything and it was too much. I want to focus on other aspects of my life now. I've had no energy."
'Republic of Telly' presenter Jennifer Maguire made her musical debut in the production and admitted to being "a bag of nerves" before stepping onto the stage for the first time. The 33-year-old plays Marion, the wife of Jason Donovan's character, Tick.
"I've been trying to keep calm and collected because it is an amazing show and I'm so thrilled to be in it, but of course it's slightly terrifying," she told the Irish Independent.
"I hope people just forgive my dancing," she added.
A string of well-known faces turned out to show their support at the Irish premiere of the hit musical, including RTE's Colm Hayes and Nuala Carey, as well as Linda Martin and 'Fair City' actress Aoibheann McCaul.
