No sign of Rihanna as Brown hits town
SINGER Chris Brown was joined by his mother instead of Rihanna for his gig in Dublin.
Rihanna was at his side in Frankfurt and London while he brought his 'Carpe Diem' tour across Europe, sparking rumours that they have rekindled their romance.
But the 'Umbrella' star was nowhere to be seen yesterday as 23-year-old Brown turned out to entertain his Irish followers.
Brown, who took to the stage at the O2 arena last night, was instead accompanied by his mother, Joyce Hawkins, while in the capital for his concert.
It was a short stopover for the singer, who has since left the country ahead of his next date tomorrow in Belgium.
He checked out of the Conrad Hotel in the city centre prior to rehearsals for his sold-out show yesterday and headed straight to Dublin Airport after performing.
Brown flew into town on Saturday, as Rihanna returned to Los Angeles to launch her third fragrance 'Nude'.
But fans were still left wondering if she was in fact in the vicinity, after he shared a picture of the two of them online on Sunday morning.
The couple split following Brown's assault on Grammy award-winning Rihanna (24) in 2009.
