Matthew Morrison has announced he wants to open a string of "Glee schools".
The US actor has apparently been inspired by his Glee alter-ego Will Schuester, who coaches high school singers, because he is now hoping to launch his own international network of performing arts schools for talented students.
He told The Independent: "My focus is on arts education. I'm trying to create an accredited school programme that would go nationwide and hopefully global eventually.
"It's kind of modelled after the performing arts school I went to [New York University's Tisch School of the Arts]. It would be great to have one in London. It's something I'd like to talk to Andrew Lloyd Webber about."
The 34-year-old actor and musician wants the schools to combat cuts in music departments.
Glee is still going strong after launching in 2009 and Matthew couldn't be happier, although he admitted it has affected his other work.
"I have missed opportunities to do some films," he said. "But it's a lot of actors' dream of getting steady employment like this. I'm not complaining."
Glee airs on Sky1 HD in the UK.
