The event, which was MC'd by Grainne Seoige was buzzing with over 400 people attending including well known faces such as Keith Duffy his wife Lisa and son Jay, Rosanna Davison, Glenda Gilson, Matt Cooper, Caroline Downey, Norah Casey, Morah Ryan Margaret Nelson and Mae Frisby.Guests enjoyed the magic of Christmas at the beautifully decorated Ritz Carlton Hotel. Entertainment included Jack L, who had just completed his sold out tour and who performed his brand new show "27", the hilarious Mario Rosenstock and the magnificent voices of Eilis Kennedy and Patricia Scanlon better known as Lumiere. The auction was performed by David Byrne from Merlin Auctions. The Event Management of the evening was kindly sponsored by MCI Ovation Dublin. IAA would also like to thank BPI Telecom, Xtra-vision, Marks & Spencer, The Ritz-Carlton and The SQ Foundation for their generous donations towards the event.Keith Duffy said " I am absolutely delighted with the success of the ball last night, in these difficult times to raise this amount of money is incredible. GERRY RYAN'S widow Morah Ryan was one of a number of well-known faces who stepped out to support Keith Duffy's sixth Masquerade Ball.

The mother of five wore a peach coloured floor-length dress at the event in The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Powerscourt, Co Wicklow.

With Grainne Seoige as MC, the fundraiser generated over €100,000 for charity Irish Autism Action and Saplings School in Rathfarnham.

Entertainment was provided by singer Jack L, and impersonator Mario Rosenstock, who was entertaining rather than mimicking an audience of VIPs, which included solicitor Gerald Kean, former Miss World Rosanna Davison, model Glenda Gilson, Today FM's Matt Cooper, and Newstalk presenter Norah Casey.

Speaking at Saturday's event, Duffy, who attended with his wife Lisa and son Jay, said: "I am absolutely delighted with the success of the ball. In these difficult times to raise this amount of money is incredible.

"The funds will help to provide children and parents affected by autism with the support they truly deserve.''
