Model mum Andrea Roche returns to social scene after giving birth weeks ago
Andrea Roche is back on the social scene, looking svelte eight weeks after giving birth to her daughter Sophie.
The model boss (36) and her husband of almost two years, Rob White, welcomed their first child nearly two months ago.
The former Miss Ireland showed off her super svelte figure at the launch of stylist Lisa Fitzpatrick’s new book “Diet SOS” last night at The Morgan Hotel in skinny jeans and a black cardigan.
Looking radiant, Andrea told the Herald: “I was working out with my trainer three times a week so now it’s down to two and I’m feeling good."
"I am totally in love with my daughter Sophie, but I am self-employed so i am back at for a few weeks and juggling it all."
Andrea continued to work for most of her pregnancy, running her firm, appearing as a stylist on Ireland AM as well as juggling her agency work.
And after a brief maternity leave she made her return to TV3 last week.
An organiser of the Miss Universe Ireland pageant, she has been credited with discovering many of Ireland's best-known models. She also runs a bootcamp through her agency that teaches girls all the tricks of the modelling trade.
Roche and Fitpzatrick have been pals for nearly two decades and the new mother credits second-time author Lisa with helping 'discover' her at Miss Ireland in 1998.
“We are all delighted for Lisa. She was judging when I won Miss Ireland 17 years ago," she added.
Other guests at the book launch, which recounts Lisa’s previous weight struggles, included Alan Hughes, Louis Walsh and Morah Ryan.
Also in attendance was former Miss World Rosanna Davison, who like Andrea, will celebrate her wedding in a lavish Ibiza ceremony this weekend - at the same hotel where her boss wed.
