Merrygold: I fancy X Factor stint

Aston Merrygold has revealed that he would like to be a judge on The X Factor.
The JLS singer, who has already proved his judging talents on Sky1's Got To Dance, said being a mentor on the ITV singing show would be "a huge honour".
"That is the show myself and the boys came from so it would be an honour to be a judge on that show. I've been in the industry long enough now to know what's right and wrong and I've got a good eye for talent, as we've seen from the last series of Got To Dance, so yes, definitely," he said.
The 25-year-old added: "If you look at the line-up of that show, it's always got a fantastic panel. I don't know who's on the panel this year, but they always get it right. In terms of entertainment, it is flawless."
Aston, who is hoping to reprise his judging role on next year's series of Got To Dance, has been 'marmalised' by Alton Towers Resort to show how riders will feel when they experience its biggest ever rollercoaster, The Smiler, which opens in May.
"I had a shock when I looked in the mirror for the first time. It was definitely an extreme transformation," he said.
He joked that he has already splashed out on a theme park treat for bandmate Marvin Humes' baby with The Saturdays' Rochelle.
"I am a big fan of rollercoasters so I bought the baby a season ticket for Alton Towers already. The baby won't be tall enough to go on the rides yet so we'll get Marvin to use it. There were a few other presents - clothes and more - but that's the main one," he said.
