Paddy McGuinness has revealed he is easy to buy gifts for, despite what his friends and family might think.
The Bolton-born funnyman, who is hosting this year's Asda Text Santa fundraising campaign alongside Christine Bleakley, Ant and Dec, Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield, admitted people often don't know what to get him for Christmas.
"Everyone tells me I'm not. I think I am, as I'm grateful for anything," he insisted.
"It doesn't have to be anything expensive, I do believe it is the thought that counts. Although most people never know what to get me!"
Paddy admitted that a foot spa from his mother remains his favourite present to date.
"I thought my mum was going to buy me the best Christmas present ever. At the time mini Hi-Fi's were all the rage so I was hoping to get that for Christmas. That year, she placed a box under the tree, which I thought had to be the Hi-Fi's," he recalled.
"For two weeks, she left the present under the tree and it was the longest two weeks of my life! I was so excited on Christmas Day and ran into the front room, ripped all the paper off and it was a foot spa!
"I was 11 at the time and she thought I really wanted one. Not an ideal gift for an eleven year old," he added.
:: Text Santa will be shown on ITV1 tonight (December 21).
