Mad Men stars Jon Hamm, Elisabeth Moss and Christina Hendricks have stepped out for the launch of the show's sixth series in Los Angeles.
While Elisabeth and Christina played it safe in black, Canadian actress Jessica Pare - who plays Megan Draper - brightened up the carpet in a vivid floral dress by Prabal Gurung. Co-star January Jones picked a pastel number by Jonathan Saunders.
Elisabeth, whose alter-ego Peggy Olson accepted an offer to be head copywriter at a rival ad agency at the end of the fifth season, joked she has to stay tight-lipped about the coming series: "I can't tell you anything! It's going to be awesome."
But she teased that fans will get more background into the characters.
"I don't think the tone of the show will get any lighter, it's still pretty dark. It gets more in-depth into why these characters are so dark and looks into what makes them who they are," she said, adding: "I think Peggy is figuring it out but she still has a journey ahead of her. She is trying her hand but it remains to be seen how well it is going to go."
Jon, who plays head honcho Don Draper, added: "He is dealing with demons he has dealt with for a long time and that is part of his journey. We realise more and more why this guy got to where he got and why he is how he is. The more we learn about his past, we learn he's a damaged child."
Christina (advertising partner Joan Harris) hinted: "Joan is definitely a mother now, so we will see her being more of one. I can't reveal any more."
The sixth season of Mad Men premieres on UK screens on Sky Atlantic HD on April 10.
