Demi Lovato has officially signed up for the next series of X Factor USA.
The actress and singer joined the panel of Simon Cowell's show last year and has now confirmed that she will be sitting alongside him again when the singing contest returns.
She said: "I am so excited to return as a judge and mentor on The X Factor. Last season was an unbelievable experience and I really enjoyed developing personal relationships with the contestants and the panel. I look forward to taking my experience and applying it to make this season even better."
Simon said he was thrilled that Demi would be back - although he joked that she could be "really annoying".
"She's a superstar in her own right and was a fantastic mentor last year," he said. "Even though she can be really, really annoying -I truly enjoyed working with her and so did the artists. I'm especially pleased she's back even during her world tour!"
There are still two vacancies on the panel after the departure of former judges Britney Spears and LA Reid, but so far possible replacements haven't been revealed.
Toxic singer Britney announced her departure in January, saying that although she had an incredible time working on the show, she wanted to get back into the studio to record. Record executive LA quit soon after the end of the last series, explaining that he needed to focus on his company.
