Kristin Davis broke down in tears on live TV while describing her recent visit to meet refugees from Somalia.
The Sex And The City star appeared on BBC Breakfast to talk about her work as an ambassador for Oxfam, for which she went to a refugee camp in Kenya housing more than 380,000 forced to leave drought-stricken Somalia.
The actress, who plays pampered Charlotte York Goldenblatt in the hit franchise, said: "We were really unprepared for how shocking it is."
Choking up, she added: "I'm sorry, this story is a hard story. This woman can't walk so she came from Somalia on a cart with a donkey. She started with five children and now she just has three. Her husband was killed along the way and [she lost] everything she owned."
