Lamar Odom has revealed his hopes of reconciliation with wife Khloé Kardashian.
The couple announced they were filing for divorce on December 13 after four years of marriage.
But former LA Lakers star Lamar has now confessed how much he still loves Khloé.
“I love my wife. She'll always be my wife, no matter what," the 34-year-old told Us Weekly.
“Those were some of the best years of my life. Being married and being married to a woman I decided to marry was, besides having children, the most important thing in my life."
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star filed for divorce after reports Lamar was unfaithful and suffered an alleged drug problem.
But Lamar is still hopeful it isn’t the end for their union and was photographed earlier this week sporting his wedding ring.
“Who knows? We don't know exactly if [the divorce is going through],” Lamar noted. “Only time will tell. I hope not. But even if we were divorced, she would always be my wife."
Lamar has just signed a two-month contract with Spanish basketball team Laboral Kutxa.
Upon reflection following his move to Europe, Lamar admitted he had made a lot of mistakes in his life.
“We all have regrets, but the thing is to learn from life. There's no one in this room, no one in this world who can say, 'I'm mistake-free, I have made no mistakes,'" he said. "If you can introduce me to that person, please introduce me to that person. Let me meet him and speak to him."
