Stepped out last night for the first time since news of her split from garda Enda Waters was made public.
Kathryn and her garda boyfriend decided to call time on their relationship last July – but kept it under wraps until this month.
The five year romance came to a sad end with Enda moving out of their shared house.
But far from letting the breakdown of the romance get to her, Kathryn has thrown herself into work instead.
“I’m doing great. I’m just keeping busy with work and getting on with things,” she said.
There’s clearly no let-up in her hectic schedule of late, given that she’s continuing to juggle two TV shows, as well as filling in for RTE Radio 1’s John Murray.
Last week she was filming the first part of Operation Transformation and this week will see her concentrating on The Voice Of Ireland.
“On Friday I’m heading over to London to do some work on We Will Rock You for the radio show,” she said.
“I’m going over to interview Ben Elton and Brian May.
“Then I’m covering for John starting on the Monday so it’s going to be all go for me.”
Kathryn joined the throngs of well-heeled guests at Lancome’s Christmas party in the Shelbourne Hotel this week, after spending the day shooting a spread at the hotel with celebrity photographer Barry McCall.
Looking chic in a grey wool knit dress, Kathryn looked happy and did not appear to be dwelling too much on the break-up.
The couple first met at a charity ball in 2007 and became friends before getting together as a couple.
Back in April Kathryn admitted in an interview that while she was happy with her Garda boyfriend, they were not thinking of getting married.
She said: “I get the marriage question all the time, a lot of my friends are married now.
“I’ve been to a lot of weddings and I have a massive collection of bridesmaid dresses, always the bridesmaid, never the bride.
“Each to their own, I have an independent streak and I have a partner who accepts that, luckily.
“I’m always denying getting wed, but no, not yet, we are very happy as we are.”
