Kanye West has claimed his fiancee Kim Kardashian is more influential than Michelle Obama.
The rapper said that the reality star had more influence on what people wear than the First Lady of the United States, but that socialite Kim had to break through because society was "classist".
Michelle, who has championed US designers and been praised for her sense of style, has appeared on the cover of Vogue twice, but Kanye told radio show On Air With Ryan Seacrest: "There's no way Kim Kardashian shouldn't be on the cover of Vogue.
"She's like the most intriguing woman right now. She's got Barbara Walters calling her like everyday... and collectively we're the most influential with clothing."
He said that unlike Kim, who recently showed off a picture of herself in a white swimsuit, the First Lady could not share an image of herself in a bikini.
"No one is looking at what [Barack Obama] is wearing. Michelle Obama cannot Instagram a (bikini) pic like what my girl Instagrammed the other day."
