Popstar Beyonce made the most of the spring weather with a trip to Dublin's Phoenix Park yesterday.

The singer took daughter Blue Ivy (2) to the playground at the park's visitor centre for half an hour, along with husband Jay-Z.

And the multi-millionaire mogul is clearly thrilled with his time here as he shared an adorable snap of him playing with their daughter in the playground.

The happy family and their security team left the Fitzwilliam Hotel in three blacked-out people carriers around 4.45pm.

But they kept a low-profile in the Phoenix Park where they were barely noticed by other parents.

They rounded off their family day with a dinner date at Coppinger Row. The world famous pair were spotted along with security as they dined at the trendy eatery.

Beyonce was enjoying a day off in the middle of her four performances at The O2.

On Sunday night she shunned the capital's nightlife in favour of a romantic meal with rapper Jay-Z.

Restaurant Fade Street Social say that she was extremely humble even if she kept staff back a little later than usual.

Beyonce tucked into the pumpkin flatbreads (€17) garnished with fresh rosemary, parmesan, onion purée, sliced chestnut and fried mushroom.

Her husband Jay-Z went for a classic strip steak and a serving of chips.

The pair arrived at the restaurant, which is owned by 'Masterchef' star Dylan McGrath, around 11pm.

"Usually the kitchen is closing around then but we held on for a few minutes to accommodate them," a spokesperson for the restaurant said. "They were extremely nice and friendly and left very happy."

After the meal, the couple returned to The Fitzwilliam Hotel where the family are staying in the penthouse suite.
