TV3 presenter Aisling O'Loughlin and partner Nick McInnes have shared a new family photo of their three-day-old son Louis Alexander in hospital.
According to mum Aisling, Louis Alexander is a "little dote" and weighed in at 9lb 2oz on Friday.
The pair couldn't be happier with the new addition to the family.
Xpose star Aisling (33) went in for a Caesarean section last Friday as she was two weeks overdue.
"I was ready to roll two weeks before my due date," she told The Herald. "That's the problem with planning things that you have no control over.
"They don't let you go beyond 42 weeks -- hence the deadline."
Aisling and Nick already have one son together, Patrick Nicholas, who celebrated his second birthday yesterday.
The couple recently moved out of their Wicklow home and relocated closer to Dublin city centre.
Packing boxes and organising moving lorries may not sound like the most relaxing way to spend your maternity leave, but Aisling says it prevented her from spending too much of her time "naval gazing" during her pregnancy.
And while Aisling loves the idyllic location of her former house, she said raising children in an old and cold country home was not ideal.
She said: "It was an old house and it got very cold in the winter so we needed to be practical.
"The new house is warmer and more modern and closer to town but still has that cottage vibe to it."
