I plan to be a working mother, says Amy
ACTRESS Amy Huberman plans to be a 'working mom' -- as she revealed her hopes that comedy 'Threesome' will return for a new series.
The pregnant 33-year-old actress said she'll probably be in "baby mode" for the first few months after birth but hopes to make a return to acting and her writing before too long.
"I will probably be a working mother. We don't know if 'Threesome' is going to go again but hopefully it will and if it does I'll go back to that," Amy, who is five-and-a-half months pregnant, said.
"Obviously you have got to find a balance and life is going to change, you've got a new priority. It is going to be great; it is really exciting."
In two weeks she'll be back in front of a camera shooting Irish comedy film 'The Stag', written by Peter McDonald and John Butler.
"They'll work around it. I assume that I'll be wearing a lot of black," the actress said of her growing baby bump.
Huberman's character in the Comedy Central series 'Threesome' was pregnant in series one. She revealed her 'fake' synthetic nylon bump was more uncomfortable than her real bump.
Huberman, whose second book 'I Wished For You' is on shop bookshelves now, spoke on the 'Late Late Show' of how her husband, Ireland rugby star Brian O'Driscoll, was at home with a 'Darth-Vader style' compression cast on his foot after undergoing surgery to repair ankle ligament trouble.
"He had surgery the other day so now it is the road to recovery. It went well," she said.
"He's a very good patient so he hasn't been that demanding. There is not really much I can do for him."
