'I felt betrayed by Simon over baby' reveals Cowell's ex Sinitta

With new mum Dannii Minogue returning for Judges’ Houses, this year will see a series of celebrity guest judges take their seats at the auditions.  They are Geri Halliwell, Katy Perry, Natalie Imbruglia, Nicole Scherzinger and Pixie Lott. 

They will join regular judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Cheryl Cole as they travel across Britain and over to Ireland for the auditions, with the hopefuls trying to impress the judges and audiences of thousands.

Dermot O'Leary returns to host the proceedings on ITV1 and will be on hand to celebrate with the successful acts and mop up the tears of those that aren't, whilst new to the team is Konnie Huq who will be fronting ITV2’s The Xtra Factor.

SIMON Cowell's ex felt "betrayed" when he told her he was going to be a dad.

The television mogul is expecting his first child with girlfriend Lauren Silverman in the coming months and it came as a shock to Sinitta, who has been friends with Simon for more than two decades.

"I was completely and utterly stunned," she confessed to UK newspaper The Mirror, revealing Simon was adamant about not having children during their relationship in the Eighties.

The former aspiring pop star admitted the revelation made her feel "betrayed" as she struggled to cope with her emotions.

"I suppose there has been a certain amount of comfort for me in my not having a child with Simon as he never wanted to have children. That's who he was, you accepted it. Then, to discover that he is going to have a child, only with someone else and they're building this life together..." she explained, admitting she's reconciled with the happy news.

"All those crazy things were going through my head and it's not fair and it's not pertinent to Simon and Lauren's situation and I don't have a right to feel that way. But I'm being honest."

Sinitta recalls Simon being "calm" when he told her about the baby.

She said the star was "concerned about how I'd take it" and in retrospect realises he was being considerate by including her.

Simon publicly admitted last month he was going to be a father after rumours swirled he had enjoyed an affair with the wife of his former pal, businessman Andrew Silverman. The former couple recently settled their divorce.

Simon broke his silence about impending fatherhood last month, revealing he's "proud to be a dad".

"Things are changing in my life right now. [It's] something I haven't thought of before and now I know I feel good about it," he told BBC News at One Direction's film premiere in Leicester Square.

Simon also gushed about the future mother of his child.

"She's a very special girl," he said.
