Those who have seen the Aussie actress’ naked scenes in Martin Scorsese’s Oscar-nominated movie would probably agree with him.

Hugh Hefner’s beady eyes probably turned to scantily clad dollar signs when he first clocked Hollywood up-and-comer Margot Robbie during a trip to the cinema.

And those who have seen the actress’ naked scenes in Martin Scorsese’s Oscar-nominated The Wolf of Wall Street, in which she stars opposite Leonardo DiCaprio, would no doubt agree she has some great pulling power.

"I loved American Hustle [and] Wolf of Wall Street and [Leonardo] DiCaprio in it. He was very, very good,” he told US Magazine.

However, it wasn’t DiCaprio’s theatrical ‘assets’ that really piqued his attention.

"And the girl that plays [Jordan Belfort's] wife in [Wolf of Wall Street] is very, very pretty," he noted, failing to recall her by name (or mention her outstanding contribution as a talented member of the award-winning ensemble cast).

"She should be in Playboy," he exclaimed, before demanding his assistant, "Send her a message" immediately.

"We're ready for her," he continued. "She would be great."

As of yet, Robbie’s camp are yet to confirm – or deny – whether they have in fact received such a message. Or indeed, whether she would ever accept.

"I think nudity for the sake of nudity is shameful," she told the Telegraph recently.

"If they’ve put it in just so that a girl gets her top off, then that’s disgusting."

So. It seems unlikely, then.

But Hefner has a habit of securing deals with IT girls for his cover. And if she were to give the nod, she’d join the likes of Kate Moss, Drew Barrymore and Kim Kardashian in the long list of successful women who have graced the front of the glossy.
