Hasselbeck staying put at The View

Elisabeth Hasselbeck is not leaving US show The View.
There had been reports that Elisabeth would not be returning to the panel of the US talk show next season after market research revealed that she wasn't popular with TV audiences.
But series co-creator Barbara Walters called that story "particularly false" on Monday's edition of the ABC daytime programme. She also said: "We have no plans for Elisabeth to leave."
She denied reports that Elisabeth has lost favour with The View for her conservative political stances, something Barbara said "we value and appreciate".
However, Barbara did confirm that Joy Behar would exit the show in August.
Joy was among the first co-hosts with Barbara when The View debuted in 1997. She announced her planned departure last week.
Besides Barbara and Elisabeth, the remaining panel includes Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd.
