One Direction’s Harry Styles appears to be taking festive pointers from Ryan Tubridy.
The 18-year-old posted pictures of himself on Twitter wearing the same ‘elf’ Christmas jumper that the broadcaster wore to present the Toy Show this year.
The jumper is from Irish company Funky Christmas Jumpers and star also posed wearing another one company’s creations, the ‘Rudolph the Ryandeer’ version.
The sweaters have become a runaway success this year, worn by everybody from rugby players Brian O’Driscoll, Tommy Bowe and Cian Healy to model Rosanna Davison, as well as Jedward.
Harry, who is currently dating Taylor Swift, posted the pictures and captioned them:
“Christmas Jumpers are out!! Get in. kimpopd and I are feeling festive!”
The jumpers cost €39.99 from Funky Christmas Jumper’s pop up store on Dublin’s South William Street but no doubt Harry’s could fetch a lot more than that should he decide to sell it.
Ryan Tubridy’s Elf jumper was sold in an on-air auction on the presenter’s show earlier this month.
The anonymous bidder paid €16,000 for the festive knit, which was sold framed along with a picture of Tubridy wearing the jumper. The money was donated to the 2FM Toy Appeal for St Vincent de Paul.
Speaking after the sale, Tubridy said: "€10,000 is a lot of money today and it's going to make an enormous difference this Christmas to lots of people. The jumper has made people laugh – and cry – and today it did a good job for the St Vincent de Paul."
