Gwyneth Paltrow gives son Moses a birthday bash to remember
Gwyneth Paltrow reportedly "went all out" for her son's birthday party at the weekend.
The actress has nine-year-old daughter Apple and son Moses, eight, with her estranged husband Chris Martin.
Moses' birthday was last week but he celebrated with a party on Saturday, with the festivities taking place at Gwyneth's Brentwood, Los Angeles, home.
A witness told Us Weekly the star "went all out" for the bash, which was held outside.
To help get the party started, the actress arranged for balloons that spelt out Moses' name, as well as his new age, to flutter around the venue.
Around 20 children were invited to the party, with Apple allowed to bring some of her pals too.
"Colourful tables were set up everywhere," the insider explained, "and hula hoops and balls for the kids to play with."
There was also a huge bouncy castle in the shape of a pirate ship for the children to play on, as well as a magician to keep them entertained.
The star also arranged for a plethora of food to be on offer, with Gwyneth allowing her family to take a break from their usual healthy meals.
A gourmet hot dog vendor was passing out sausages to guests and there was also curry, samosas and tacos on offer.
It seemed everyone had a great time, with a few of the youngsters spotted leaving at 4pm with T-shirts that had been created at the party.
Gwyneth and Chris confirmed they had "consciously un-coupled" last month, but insisted they would always be a family.
They were on holiday together and with their children when the news broke and it's claimed the musician even bought Gwyneth a painting to mark the end of their ten-year union.
