IT'S tradition to spend a couple's first Christmas with the bride's family, and Una Healy and Ben Foden celebrated a very Irish Christmas Day yesterday.
THE Saturdays' Una Healy and daughter Aoife Belle had a very Irish Christmas yesterday, with a trip to mass, roast potatoes, RTE TV's offering, and Irish coffees at the end of the day.
The 31-year-old singer spent Christmas with her family in Co. Tipperary and posted pics to Twitter throughout the day.
The first showed little Aoife Belle in a red snowflake jumper and red coat with fur trimmed collar, while Una wore a matching adult version, both given to her by bandmate Rochelle.
"Matching jumpers thanks to Auntie Roch! @rochellethesats X," she tweeted.
Her bandmate responded on Twitter that it was in fact her hubby Marvin Humes from JLS, with whom she is expecting a baby next year, who had bought the gifts: "AW bless! Uncle Marv picked it haha xx."
Later on Una showed a photo of the nine-month-old with the caption: "Just back from Christmas mass" along with the photo of the tot in her Christmas clothes.
During the day Una reminded her half a million followers that she was appearing on RTE's 'School Around the Corner Christmas Speical' last night with Ray D'Arcy, where she returned to her old primary school in Thurles, and performed the Christmas classic 'White Christmas' accompanied by her uncle, Declan Nerney.
Later on she tweeted a pic of hubby rugby star Ben Foden and little Aoife in their 'Christmas dinner gear', comprising a red romper suit and Santa hat on Aoife.
Ben was seen in a very fetching green and white festive fleecy onesie, that left lots of room for turkey and ham, but no sprouts, as Una revealed they were off the menu in the Healy household.
A photo later in the day of Ben relaxing post dinner in his comfy onesie surrounded by the family pets, pugs Jackson and Bono, got a lot of reaction on Twitter from people claiming the dogs were overweight.
The final tweet of the day came just before the family turned in for the night with Una telling her followers:
"Having an #irishcoffe with the family before heading to bed x #yum"
It's been a busy and eventful year for the 31-year-old who gave birth to Aoife Belle in April, and married Ben in June in the church of the Church of the Assumption in Bansha, Co. Tipperary, in one of the year's biggest celebrity weddings.
And it looks like 2013 is gearing up to be a big one with her band The Saturdays about to launch in the US, with their own reality show, Chasing The Saturdays, airing on E! in January.
