Full steam ahead for Connolly film

WHO said Connolly was stationary? Vivienne, the model and wife of Dunnes' heir Mark, has just secured a part in an American movie called In World War. It begins shooting next week. Vivienne's agent sent her showreels and audition tapes to director Brant Smith in Los Angeles a few months ago and he clearly liked what he saw (I know the feeling).

"My character is called Mary B; she is the fulcrum of an integral scene in the growth and learning process of the protagonist," she says, getting all luvvie on me. "It will be shot in Dublin and San Francisco and Paris." Whew. At least I understand that part.

Speaking of romantic locations, Vivienne is going to Tenerife at the end of October with her husband (and Ben Dunne's son) Mark for a holiday (they are bringing their son, Ben junior, too). They are also planning to go to New York in November for a break.

Most romantically of all, perhaps, Vivienne's sister Elaine is getting married in Wine Port Lodge in Athlone in December. Viv and her sisters and mother are going out to Marbella in November for her dress and her bridesmaids' dresses. All go at Connolly then.
