Katie Taylor is on the lookout for a new home – and maybe even the right someone to share it with.
The Olympic gold medallist, pictured above, told the Irish Independent that she is house-hunting and is ready to leave the family home in Bray, Co Wicklow, once she finds a suitable property.
"I'd love to have my own place. I have been looking at houses over the last few weeks," the 26-year-old said.
"It'll be a big change not having dad there and my mum's cooking though," she added.
Katie said she would prefer not to live alone but that there was no special someone in her life at present.
She said she would like to settle down when the ideal candidate – preferably a Roger Federer-type – crosses her path.
Katie will take on Bulgaria's Denista Eliseeva at the Royal Theatre in Castlebar on March 24, two days after her meeting with Ukrainian champion Yulia Tsiplakova in Dublin.
