THEY'RE the celebrity couple you probably don't recognise – but back home in China, millions of fans are fascinated by every detail of their Irish honeymoon.
The couple have just tied the knot and chose Ireland as their honeymoon destination, arriving here accompanied by a pack of photographers to feed the media interest back home.
Like lots of other honeymooning couples, they visited top tourist attractions like the Cliffs of Moher, the Ring of Kerry, and Trinity College and enjoyed plush accommodation like Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort and the Merrion Hotel. But unlike most other honeymooners, their holiday has been widely reported on in their home country.
Their visit was welcomed by tourism chiefs, who said it was a great opportunity to showcase Ireland's attractions to an overseas audience.
"In what is a challenging year for Irish tourism, it is encouraging to see this positive publicity in the Chinese market," Ms Sugrue added.
