Little Mix star Perrie Edwards was a breath of fresh air when she showed off her naturally pale skin on a Florida beach.
The singer felt comfortable in her own skin despite being part of a beauty-conscious industry obsessed with tanning products and saturated with images of celebrities with the perfect sun-kissed complexions.
She wore a plain black swimsuit as she enjoyed a day off at Fort Lauderdale beach with the rest of her band mates and backing dancers.
While the rest of the Little Mix crew donned midriff-baring numbers, the 20-year-old covered up in her retro-style suit and displayed her natural porcelain pins.
Perrie showed off her body in a swimsuit with a zip and plunging back design.
She added a touch of Hollywood glamour with her oversized sunglasses and bubble-gum pink lipstick.
The rest of the Little Mix girls wore some seriously stylish beach gear.
Band mate Leigh-Anne Pinnock, sunbathed on a towel in her spotty monochrome bikini and donned an unusual black lace dress when she strolled on the white sandy beach.
Singer Jade Thirlwall paraded around in a black and white check skirt and chic baseball cap.
Eccentric-dresser Jesy Nelson wore ripped black shorts and a tasselled bikini top.
The four-piece were delighted to be kicking back on their day off stating, ‘‘Day off in Florida!! Woohoo #BeachDay.’’
Jesy posted a picture of herself on her Instagram as she enjoyed a well-earned day off.
The former X Factor stars have been spanning the US as they support Demi Lovato on her Neon Lights Tour.
Perrie will also be busy planning her wedding to One Direction star Zayn Malik.
She has already admitted that she took time out of the band’s busy US schedule to search for the perfect white dress.
The bride-to-be and boyfriend of two years are set to wed later this year.
Another star championing the natural look is former Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts.
She previously was crippled with insecurities about her white skin and in the early days of the band, would apply lashings of fake tan to disguise it.
