Beyonce has revealed the band are getting back together and set to perform at the Superbowl next month.
The 31-year-old star announced on her website that the Survivor singers would be releasing new music together after a long hiatus.
She wrote: "I am so proud to announce the first original Destiny's Child music in eight years! - Beyonce."
The album is called Love Songs and is a compilation, but features a new track called Nuclear. The song was produced by Pharrell Williams and is the trio's first new recording since 2004.
A picture of the black and white album cover shows Beyonce and her bandmates Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland, all wearing hats and heavy eye-make up as they stare into the camera.
Beyoncé Knowles and Destiny’s Child are rumoured to be performing their new song together at the Super Bowl.
Several sources have confirmed to Us Weekly that Beyoncé will welcome Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams to perform onstage with her at the sporting event.
Apparently they are planning to do a medley of their hits and will sing their new song Nuclear at the end.
Kelly Rowland is scheduled to release her fourth solo album, Year of the Woman, later this year. Michelle Williams released her third in 2008, and went on to star in Aida on Broadway and Chicago on London’s West End.
