Cressida Bonas 'in princess bootcamp' before engagement to Prince Harry
Cressida Bonas is reportedly having training in a "princess boot camp".
The pretty blonde has been dating Britain's Prince Harry since 2012, and they have recently stepped their relationship up a gear by attending their first public engagement together.
Appearing side-by-side at Wembley Arena last week, the young couple looked happy while attending a charity event for WE Day UK.
"Both of them are sick and tired of sneaking around like burglars leaving a crime scene. It reached a point where it was taking the fun out of life. When you're young and in love you want to should it from the rooftops, not slope around with a face like thunder," an insider revealed to British magazine Grazia.
"It all came to a head in a serious heart-to-heart earlier this month. They weren't enjoying the charade any more, so they've decided to take action. The relationship's a keeper and Harry wants Cressida to get ready for royal life. She was reluctant at first, but as their love has grown deeper, she knows it's the right thing to do. You could call it a princess boot camp but it's a lot more fun than that."
Sources close to Harry say that the events form the past few months have made him realise how serious he is about Cressida.
The 29-year-old royal completed an epic trek to the South Pole at the end of last year, as well as becoming an uncle for the first time to big brother William and Catherine's son Prince George.
"Harry has known for a while that Cressida is The One but even the most decisive men sometimes need a boot up the backside," the source smiled.
Cressida, an aspiring dancer, is said to have the support of her family as she gets more serious with Harry.
Her mother Lady Mary Gaye Curzon is said to be particularly overjoyed that Cressida has found a potential husband in the young royal.
Cressida has also sought the advice of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, in helping her adjust to the media glare.
"Cressida's had media and security training already, and has her own pass so she can come and go from Kensington Place as she pleases. Just as importantly, she gets on very well with Kate.
"They're totally different people but sometimes opposites attract and that's the case with them. Kate remembers all too well how tough it is when you join The Firm and she's been very generous with her advice," the source added.
