A-LISTERS Colin Farrell and Michael Fassbender have decided not to attend tomorrow night's Irish Film and Television Awards.
Although he is nominated in the Best Actor in Film at the IFTAs, Castleknock-born Farrell has opted to stay in New York where he is shooting 'Winter's Tale'.
The 36-year-old was on set in Brooklyn with his co-stars Jennifer Connolly and Eva Marie Saint.
Farrell plays a burglar who falls in love with his intended victim in the film, which also stars Russell Crowe and 'Downton Abbey' actress Jessica Brown Findlay.
Fassbender has finished filming Lenny Abrahamson's new comedy, 'Frank', and flew back to the UK ahead of his appearance on the 'Graham Norton Show' this week, which will air on BBC tonight.
The Kerryman is expected to remain in London for Sunday night's BAFTAs.
In their absence, Saoirse Ronan will lead the way at the IFTAs. The 18-year-old is filming Wes Anderson's 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' in Berlin, Germany.
Ronan has left an all-star cast, which includes Jude Law, Ralph Fiennes and Bill Murray, to fly home for the event. The ceremony will broadcast tomorrow on RTE One at 9.35pm.
