Claire Byrne in her prime after finding love again

2012 has been a great year for Claire Byrne, both on and off screen.
The 36-year-old is to play a leading role with Pat Kenny and Miriam O'Callaghan in RTE's new look 'Prime Time' when it returns in January.
Having endured a very public marriage break-up as she split from her radio executive husband Richard Johnson in 2006, Byrne revealed she had found love again with new partner IT technician Gerry Scollan who she stepped out with at the VIP Style Awards.
"We have been together for nearly a year. It's all going well and I am really happy, you know it's been one of the best years I think I've ever had. I couldn't have asked for more in my personal and my professional life," Byrne told the 'RTE Guide'.
Her RTE portfolio includes fronting new TV show 'Ireland's Search and Rescue', and a one-hour radio programme 'Saturday With Claire Byrne'.
