CHERYL Cole opened her tour in Belfast last night, and judging by her performance there, temperatures will be soaring in the 02 tonight, as she takes to the stage in a series of sizzling, revealing outfits.

The former X Factor judge kicked off her first solo A Million Lights tour in Belfast last night, treating the audience to energetic dance routines and a dazzling array of on-stage outfits.

Cheryl seemed keen to show off her impressive washboard stomach in a selection of costumes specially designed by stylist Renelou Padora.

One dramatic number consisted of a plunging golden jumpsuit and heavy gold jewellery for maximum impact.

The shiny, revealing, garment boasted chains and waves as a pattern and Cheryl nipped in her waist with a brash gold waist-belt.

Another outfit consisted of a cropped pink hooded top and a pair of baggy tracksuit bottoms, again highlighting Cheryl’s enviably flat stomach.

Fans heading to the show tonight at the O2 in Dublin are in for a treat as Cheryl’s tracklist includes songs from her solo career and her time in Girls Aloud.

But anyone expecting that the epic concert performance will be matched by a gigantic ego are far off the mark.

The singer naturally has a list of dressing room demands to help her relax and replenish during and after her lively performance. And while some stars might demand flowing rivers of champagne, or a dressing room filled with white roses, Cheryl has more modest demands.

“Sweets, chocolates, jellies... and I love a biscuit,” the singer revealed when ask what items she might like to nibble on.

The Girls Aloud singer – who recently returned to X Factor alongside pal Gary Barlow – also talked about pre-show nerves, explaining that before a performance she likes to zone out.

The star admitted: “There's a lot of nervous energy before you perform – I like to be left alone with the earphones in, not thinking about anything and just zone out, and then I have a little gathering with the dancers.”

And one of those dancers might very well be the star’s current boyfriend, dancer Tre Holloway who is a member of her dance troupe. Cheryl plays 11 dates in total as part of the Million Lights tour and after tonight’s show she is off to Britain for the next leg.
