Buble applauds fan on beating thief
Michael Buble has sent a special message to a fan who fought off a burglar who tried to steal her tickets to see the singer in concert.
Agnes Neish, 65, from Dundee put up a brave fight when an intruder at her home tried to take a handbag containing her Buble tickets.
According to the Evening Telegraph the Canadian crooner heard of her bravery and sent her a signed programme with a handwritten note saying: "Dear Agnes, I'm glad you kicked his butt."
She said: "I was crying with excitement when I saw it, I was just so happy... I still can't believe Michael Buble has heard my story. It's turned a scary experience into something very positive."
The fan had jammed the burglar in her front door as he tried to get away and although he escaped, police caught him and recovered her belongings, including the tickets, within hours.
At the time Agnes told the Daily Record: "My friend who I am going to see Michael Buble with wasn't worried about me - she was worried about the tickets."
