'Broody' Nadia Forde reveals all in Hollywood reality show
Having conquered the Irish modelling scene, Nadia Forde is determined to hit Hollywood with a bang.
The catwalk queen has spent the last 18 months embarking on a music career, dividing her time between London, LA and Dublin and filmed her new three-part reality show 'Nadia Goes to Hollywood' for 3e, which debuted tonight.
And she leaves no stone in her life unturned, including her troubled upbringing, her relationships and her struggle to be away from home in Hollywood.
Nadia revealed her desire to settle down and have children and provide a more stable environment for her kids than she had as a child.
"I'm very broody," she said.
"I'd love to be lucky enough to have kids.
"I don't know if I need to get married - I'd love a wedding and everything, but I want that family unit.
"I want to achieve a lot before I get there though."
She joked that her grandmother, who raised her, is keen for her to settle down despite being just 24 years old.
"My nana stresses me out - she thinks I'm going to be on the shelf forever," she laughed.
During her time in the Golden State, she shot her 2014 calendar, recorded her first single Cha Cha Cha, shot the accompanying video and broke down in tears in frustration of not feeling 'good enough' to make it.
"It's nearly midnight and I just feel like I'm not doing a good job ," she said tearfully while recording her single.
"I never thought I was a competitive person, nut that now the challenge is there, I want to rise to it and be the best that I can."
Meanwhile, her celebrity PR Rocket Man, said that her modelling success here doesn't translate abroad.
"She's a great success in Ireland, what does that mean? Nothing," he said.
"As a matter of fact, this is the only market that matters and if you're not in the American market, you're nowhere."
Nadia Goes to Hollywood continues on 3e Wednesdays at 9pm
