Bad Teacher, which starred Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake, is being turned into a TV series.
Based on the 2011 comedy, the show will star Ari Graynor as a sexy, foul-mouthed divorcee who becomes a teacher in order to find her next husband - a role similar to Cameron's character, reported Variety.
Sex And The City's Kristin Davis and The Big Bang Theory's Sara Gilbert will also appear in the comedy.
The show, which has been adapted for the small screen by Community writer Hilary Winston, has been given the green light for a full series by US network CBS for the 2013-2014 broadcast season.
The Bad Teacher film, which was directed by Jake Kasdan, also starred Lucy Punch and Jason Segel, and won Teen Choice awards for lead stars Cameron and Justin in 2011.
