This year, the curtain will drop on the career of the greatest Irish rugby player of our time as Brian O'Driscoll finally hangs up his green shirt.
And actress Amy Huberman, wife of rugby legend BOD, said that the high profile couple will miss plenty of aspects of the rugby lifestyle, both on and off the pitch.
The mum-of-one said she will miss the social gatherings, the high of great wins and of course the friends she has made along the way.
The Cabinteely native has become close friends with many of those involved in the Irish rugby set up, including model and business woman Aoife Cogan, wife of Leinster star Gordon D'Arcy.
"I'll miss it," the petite actress told the Herald. "I have made great friends that I'll keep, but there's a social element as well.
"I have had great trips abroad to Australia, New Zealand and Italy and France and all that.
"I have become very close to some of the girls so I'll be like 'don't forget us'."
Amy (34) said that she will continue to support the Leinster team, once Brian puts away his playing boots for good.
"I was asking his parents the other night and we said we would go to the good games," she joked.
"I know he'll miss it too. It usually had our weekend social life sorted out, but he'll be fine."
While Brian (34) contemplates the next chapter in his life, Amy is relishing being back at work following the birth of her daughter Sadie, who turns one next month.
The actress and writer said that she will hold off on having more children for the foreseeable future and is looking forward to working over the next few years.
The actress has filmed a German flick in Munich and is waiting on news of other TV projects.
