US chat show host Conan O'Brien has returned to his ancestral roots and is currently holidaying in Ireland with his family.
The American television presenter has been spotted taking in the sights of Dublin as he strolled around the city with his wife of 10 years Liza Powel and their two children, Beckett (6) and Neve (8).
The 49-year-old, who was born in Massachusetts but grew up in an Irish Catholic household, was pictured outside the Merrion Hotel on Kildare Street, before taking a photo at the Department of the Taoiseach.
He was later seen browsing the shops on Grafton Street.
It is believed O'Brien flew over to Ireland from the UK yesterday. He was in London earlier this week and is no doubt enjoying some time off from his programme 'Conan', which airs on US cable station TBS.
'Conan' is currently on a one-week break.
The show's predecessor Jay Leno was restored as the host and O'Brien was subsequently paid €25m in compensation.
O'Brien said: "The odds are we will both leave this Earth without speaking to each other, which is fine. There's really nothing to say. We both know the deal. He knows; I know. I'd rather just forget."
