Never mind the Twihards; Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 was an object of fascination because it saw the red carpet reunion of the film’s stars, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.

When news of Kristen’s affair with married director Rupert Sanders emerged, there were rumours that Robert would refuse to appear with Kirsten to promote Breaking Dawn – Part 2.

However, the two have since become reconciled and there appeared to be no awkwardness between the two, judging by their body actress.

Kristen, who plays Bella Swan in the Twilight films, looked stunning in a sheer gold Zuhair Murad corseted dress, which left little to the imagination. Her boyfriend Robert, who plays vampire Edward Cullen, wore an eye-catching green Gucci suit for the event.

The film’s other start, Taylor Lautner, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Kellan Lutz, Nikki Reed and Ashley Greene were also attended the premiere at the Nokia Theatre in LA, where thousands of fans have been camping out since to see the cast brought together.

Ashley Greene, who plays vampire Alice Cullen in the films, recently spoke to America's Seventeen magazine about her fears over how her co-stars' on-off relationship will affect movie audiences.

“Hopefully, it won’t taint it and people will still be able to enjoy the movie,” she said. “I think a lot of people see us as our characters; I really want them to still be able to do that."
