Cher is the original queen of costume controversy and approaching 70 isn't going to deter her anytime soon.

The legendary singer (67) shocked audiences in Boston as part of her latest tour, stepping on stage wearing nothing but a diamond leotard.

It was her first concert in the American city in more than a decade and was determined to stay in their minds for another ten years.

And if her Dressed to Kill farewell tour is anything to go by, fans are in for a treat no matter the city.

Her return to the leotard look marks her 25th anniversary of wearing that black ensemble she wore in 1989 video for Turn Back Time.

Despite the fact that Cher is one of the world's most iconic singers of all time, she lives a relatively low key lifestyle, but isn't' afraid to voice her opinion.

She recently hit out at Miley Cyrus after her infamous MTV VMA performance with Robin Thicke.

"She could have come out naked, and if she'd just rocked the house, I would have said, 'You go, girl'.”

However the singer believes the former Disney star is not a good dancer:  "She can't dance, her body looked like hell, the song wasn't great, one cheek was hanging out.

"And, chick, don't stick out your tongue if it's coated."
