'Brian goes to bed before Sadie most nights' reveals Amy Huberman

Actress Amy Huberman has opened up about family life with husband Brian O'Driscoll and their daughter Sadie, and the couple's plans for the future.

The IFTA winner, whose Comedy Central show Threesome has been dropped from the autumn schedule, is looking forward to getting back to work after taking the summer off to enjoy family time.

She gave birth to the couple's first child, a daughter Sadie in xFebruary. Soon aftewards, she was travelling with her infant halfway around the world to support Brian O'Driscoll during the British and Irish Lions tour in Australia.

"It’s been a really nice time," she told The Ray D'Arcy Show on Today FM.

"I was quite busy after she [Sadie] was born, after Oz, I took the rest of the summer off and enjoying some family time

"I’m looking forward to getting back into a few things now."

As for adjusting to motherhood, Amy said that she loves spending time with her bundle of joy.

"She’s sleeping more now, so we’re better," she added.

"I love hanging out with her."

And while BOD and Amy are arguably Ireland's most popular couple, they are normally quite guarded when discussing their private lives, but she gushed about her husband of three years on air, calling him a "very special person".

"He is up and gone at half six most days, they do pilates and all that before they even start training," she explained.

"He’s going to bed earlier than Sadie most nights."

While she weighs up future acting roles, Amy is busy promoting her shoe line with Irish company Bourbon.

"I am allowed to wear other shoes," she joked.

"The new season’s boots are out now, the demand has been so high that I’m actually waiting on mine as well!"
