The designer has entered the world of beauty with a capsule colour collection and a bath and body line.
While Tory might always look glamorous, the fashion star doesn’t have a lot of time for make-up, which is reflected in her sparse range of products.
Included are a rose-pink lip and cheek tint, a nude lipstick, a bronzer palette and a face brush.
“I wanted to do a capsule that was quick and easy,” she explained to WWD.
“I don’t have a lot of time to get ready in the morning, so we did a lip and cheek in one — that’s how I often do it, I’ll put lipstick on my cheeks [as blush] if I only want to bring one thing out with me.
“Less is more. My mom, who’s in her late 70s, when she doesn’t wear make-up, or just a little bit, she looks so beautiful.”
Tory has also launched her first fragrance, which reminds of her of her father because he “had a great scent”.
The designer revealed how the perfume was put together.
“I loved going into the labs — there were scents and notes that I never thought would go in a fragrance,” she explained.
“I was going for tomboy meets feminine, and I wanted the vetiver because not only did my father wear it, I did too and so did my brothers. Then we looked at how we could mix it with citrus and florals — I’ve always loved tuberose. [The juice is] unexpected, but fresh.”
