Beyoncé’s dramatic hairstyle statement lasted just a week as the singer has donned her longer locks again.
The 31-year-old made a striking statement last week when she posted a photo of her chopped ‘do on Instagram.
Queen Bey had removed her weave and cut her hair to create a short pixie cut.
Many speculated that the star had chopped her locks as a feminist statement.
Beyoncé’s long-time stylist Kim Kimble told People magazine that Bey was a bold, sexy abnd powerful woman and that this drastic haircut portrayed just that.
“She had great, thick long hair which she cut off because she’s ready to me a statement,” Kimble said.
“It’s a great one to make; I’m beautiful, sexy, bold and I can do it all.
“She’s the perfect model for that; a working woman, mom, superstar, businesswoman. She’s powerful in herself,” the hairdresser added.
But Bey’s massive statement didn't last long as the star was snapped in Miami Beach this week with an inverted blonde bob, accessorised with a gold hair-band.
It’s not clear whether the new style is courtesy of a wig or weave but Bey’s back with her longer locks.
