Victoria Beckham's fashion business generated almost €2 million in 2012 thanks to the Victoria, Victoria Beckham line

in 2011, the trading sheet for Victoria Beckham's fashion enterprises dipped into the red. But in 2012, turnover more than doubled to £15 million, leaving a tidy profit of just below £1.5 million, and it's largely thanks to her lower-priced line.

Documents obtained from Companies House show that Beckham's sister line, Victoria, Victoria Beckham helped Beckham Ventures Limited turn a profit. Cited as a key driver in growing the company's revenues, the line was launched in 2011 and features dresses with a starting price of £495. Gowns from the Spice Girl turned designer's main line start from around £1,300.

The designer, whose business is based in south London, presents her two collections during New York Fashion Week, which takes place biannually. She has spoken of her desire to build a business that "will stand the test of time" and launched an e-commerce website in March this year.

In 2011 Beckham Ventures Limited made a loss of £1.6 million.
