The glamorous A-lister admitted that she does not ‘‘believe in antiperspirant’’.
The 41-year-old starlet said people would smell better if they kept away from deodorant.
‘‘I don't believe in antiperspirant,’’ she told E! News at The Other Woman premiere in Los Angeles.
‘‘It's really bad for you. I haven't used it for almost twenty years. You're stinky, because you use antiperspirant. It keeps all the stink in.’’
She advised fans to trim their armpit hair to avoid body odour and remain fresh.
‘‘Let it go and just trim your armpit hair so it doesn't hold onto the scent,’’ she added.
The outspoken body and wellbeing author shocked fans when she shared her frank ‘‘life-changing lessons’’ in her book earlier this year.
The former model caused a stir with her blunt and open discussion about the human body from bowel movements to breast size.
She warned women against stripping themselves of pubic hair permanently, which caused the biggest media frenzy.
Her matter-of-fact attitude in ‘The Body Book’ attracted the attention of women worldwide looking for advice from the actress, well-known for her healthy lifestyle.
Meanwhile, the blonde actress currently stars alongside Leslie Mann and Kate Upton in new movie The Other Woman.
As the trio promote the film around the globe, Leslie is often spotted having a feel of her co-star's bottoms on the red carpet.
Showing off their good chemistry, Cameron said she was happy to lend her "tooshie" for Leslie to "pinch".
‘‘It’s playful, exactly... Totally playful. But Leslie has this thing with butts, and it’s because she has daughters,’’ Cameron laughed to Dallas Voice.
‘‘So Kate and I, when her kids weren’t around, we got all the 'squeeshy, squeeshy, squeeshy' and all the pinching and all the grabbing.’’

Having openly spoke about her love of the female form in the past there have been claims the 41-year-old star is bisexual.
Dismissing the notion she said, ‘‘I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, but it’s a beautiful thing that we can appreciate beauty in other women. I think that’s amazing. If they’re confident in themselves and know who they are, heterosexual men can look at another heterosexual man and go, 'Yeah, he’s pretty hot. He’s a sexy man.'’’
While on the press tour for the new flick, she has opened up about having children.
‘‘I've never said never to anything in life. If I wanted kids, at any point in life, I would have them,’’ she told the Daily Telegraph.
"But I'm certain that if at any point I wanted a child, that child would find its way into my life, whether through adoption, or through being in a relationship with somebody who has a child.
