Troubled actress Amanda Bynes has rejected offers from TV giants Oprah and Dr Phil to speak about her time in rehab.

The young starlet emerged from rehab last week and is settling into normal life again.

The interviewers approached Amanda about doing her first interview post-rehab but the request was denied as the former child star said she wanted to focus on her recovery.

She was spotted shopping at retailer Costco with her parents Lynn and Rick Bynes in Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles on Saturday.

The former Nickelodeon star showcased her healthier figure, donning denim skinny jeans, a pair of Vans sneakers and a small black Chanel handbag.

She had been receiving treatment for schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder at a Malibu facility for several months.

After her departure was approved, offers poured in for interviews about her struggles and time in rehab.
