With temperatures soaring in recent days – and expected to hit highs of 27C-30C – and sunshine filling the air, we’ve enjoyed an abundance of spectacular sunrises.

Early risers didn’t waste any time capturing the beautiful scene, and shared their photos on social media.

The sky is shown in warm shades of pink and orange, while the morning light glitters over the clouds.

Met Éireann has issued a yellow weather warning for high temperatures across the country, which is set to come into effect from 10am on Tuesday and is valid until 8pm.

Forecasters predict temperatures of over 27C in many areas, reaching up to 30C in the midlands.

However, they have warned that the high temperatures could spark thunderstorms.

Wednesday will be notably cooler, with top temperatures of 18C-23C and moderate westerly breezes.
